Rev. Macil Duncan Rev. Macil Duncan came in September of 2003 as the Senior Pastor here at Mulberry Baptist Church. He has his Master’s of Divinity degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. He is married and has teenagers. His passion is to lead people to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and disciple them in a three-fold, equally balanced, spiritual life of 1) Prayer, 2) Bible Study and 3) Witnessing. The church has grown to where we added a second worship and Sunday School hour after his first year. Pastor Macil preaches and teaches each and every week in both Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 and 10:30 AM and then on Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM. We call the Wednesday worship event “The Pastor’s Class” as he teaches a deeper lesson and often receives feed-back from the audience. We go into the neighborhoods seasonally and literally go door-to-door to share Jesus, pray, encourage and meet needs in the community. Our purpose statement is “Taking Jesus as He is to people as they are.” We are prayerfully strategizing ways to take the gospel to the people. We are a growing church in need of leaders and followers that desire to grow and know more about Jesus. Pastor Duncan’s life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.” Come and join us on the journey as we seek creative and fresh ways to serve Him with an unchanging Word of God for a changing world in need.
Rev. Glenn Naylor Originally from Jonesboro, GA Glenn and his incredibly talented wife Jodie (fifteen years) have three wonderful children. He graduated from Shorter College in Rome GA and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Glenn has been in fulltime ministry for 19 years. Just a few minutes with Glenn and you'll discover his passion for serving Christ and his zeal for worship.
Rev. Chris Huff Our children adore Chris! Moreover, parents love Chris! Chris earned a BS in business administration from Erskine College before earning his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined the staff at MBC July of 2005. Chris is originally from Greenville SC. He and his wife Bromley have three children (two here and one on the way). Bromley holds a BS in early childhood education from Erskine College and a Masters in education administration in from Furman.
